Hi Ladies and Gents!
Welcome to the second post on Hipster-Chris' blog!
What a great response I had on my first post! Nice to see that other people out there share the same beliefs and interests as Hipster-Chris. Yes, you can never get enough of Charles Bukowski. He is fucked in the flesh good.
Anyway, I talked to a good friend of mine and I told him about my blog -  Naturally he became quite interested from the beginning of the convo and he gave me some advice along the way.
"Hipster-Chris! You have to personalize your blog, so people can relate to it. Make it personal and make it trust-worthy." Obviously I was soon to discover that he was a fellow hipster.  We then shared a cup of Caffé Latté and talked a bit about life in general. It was a wonderful day and mind-expanding as fuck.

As you probably know by now, I am Hipster-Chris - A young man living in the Cold North who is trying to figure out the real purpose of life. I consider myself to be open-minded and a "free-spirit." I like to ponder about the big questions in life with a fag hangin' out off my mouth whilst enjoying the weather.. And if it rains I'll cherish every single drop of "NEW LIFE".  Don't call me a hippie, that would be condescending and too mainstream. Believe me, I don't have anything against hippies, but if I hug tree - how am I then supposed to see the true grace of the entire tree, when I limit my greeting to a physical matter?  Enough about me. Let's move on.

I started out a bit aggressive, so now I'm gonna pull back a bit, a'ight?  We're gonna start off with: "Quote of the Day"  which is basically something that will be a compulsory thing in every post from me. Remember it is important to know your quotes!

"All I'm writing is just what I feel, that's all. I just keep it almost naked. And probably the words are so bland"
.
  - Jimi Hendrix

Yay, what I wonderful quote. ( Give yourself a few minutes to really comprehend the beauty of it)
Jimi had the ideas, the spirit, the life and the identity - He is almost bordering to demigod status.  Please notice the intensity of the quote. He says so many things in so few words.  Personally I strive to achieve the same complexity and  simplicity in every waking moment.  On a larger scale, doesn't this quote encapsulate  life itself? The duality in life; black and white, coffee and tea, males and females. It's exactly this duality that makes life an adventure. So today's lesson by  dear Jimi would be to keep yourself "naked", keep yourself completely open to life. Enough about Jimi's quote, sometimes we just have to let beautiful things be.

Let's move on to the "Song of the Day".  In this section of the blog I'll recommend a song, which I find absolutely stunning. Remember if you disagree in any way, you're more than welcome to comment on the blog and we can have a sober discussion whether the song deserves to be the "Song of the Day".

The "Song of the Day" goes to: Radiohead with their song Lotus flower  from their most recent album titled The king of limbs.

Listen to this amazing work of art and leave your creative responses below!

That was all from me today! My first real post. Hopefully my next post will be a bit more coherent and fluent as I will get more into the rhythm of writing a blog and you guys will get into the rhythm of reading my blog. You know, connecting with people via the virtual world.

Yours truly,
Hipster-Chris
